Our Goal

2014: FUNDING FOR A NEW BASELODGE
The Friends of Abenaki have been successful in turning around the Abenaki Ski Area, from a facility that was nearly closed down, to one of renewed pride and joy for residents and visitors to Wolfeboro.  The organization’s successful fundraising has delivered a new groomer, kiddie-slope tow and full top-to-bottom snowmaking as gifts to the Town of Wolfeboro.  The increased usage of the area now has the “Friends” working toward the goal of a new 4-season baselodge at Abenaki.   Fundraising for that new lodge is the current focus of the organization.  If you can help financially, have construction skills and are willing to donate time or materials, or are interested in helping raise funds…please contact us.  We are eager to be able to start construction on the new lodge as soon as possible.
